Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory does not run on Vista!
Windows Vista has some issues (due to the many changes Microsoft has made) when you try to run Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
But you can fix this if you run the game in "Compatibiliy Mode".
Locate the installation directory (default is C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory) and right click on the wolfet.exe, selecting Properties from the menu.
Run it in Windows XP compatibility mode and everything should be working fine.
