How to connect to shiven.net Left 4 Dead 2 servers
In 3 easy steps you can configure your Steam to use the shiven.net Left 4 Dead 2 servers instead some random server, which could have a not so good ping for you and your teammates. To do this we only have to add a search key to your launch options.
Step 1:
Open the "properties" of Left 4 Dead 2 in your games overview.
Step 2:
Click on "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS..." so we can configure the start options and adding our sv_search_key.
Step 3:
Add +sv_search_key "shiven".
Now you are all set and ready to kill zombies on our servers.
Just open a lobby, invite your friends and change server type to "Best Available Dedicated" to make sure you connect to one of our free servers.
Besides that, you can still connect via your friends menu or direct via ip adress and port.
