How to use your admin privileges
After an admin has added you to our servers you are ready to use your new admin powers. To do this we first have to enable the console in your launch options.
Step 1:
Open the "properties" of Left 4 Dead 2 in your games overview.
Step 2:
Click on "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS..." so we can configure the start options and adding our sv_search_key.
Step 3:
Add -console.
When you start Left 4 Dead 2 now, the console will be opened. Now we bind the opening of the console and opening of the SourceMod admin menu to seperate keys.
To do this we enter 2 commands:
and to open the SourceMod admin menu via keystroke we enter this:
When you are playing on our servers you can press (in our example) F11 and you will see an admin menu which can be navigated via numbers.
The range of admin commands depends on your user level. Any abuse of admin powers (kicking, banning, etc...) will result in having your admin privileges removed.
