shiven needs your suggestions!

good evening,

since shiven always stands for new things, updates, fresh ideas (which come mostly out of shivens regulars/refs/admins heads) i would like to turn to you guys..

what is missing on shiven?
what should we integrate into the forum/website? what function would you like to have? what is bugging you regarding the website?

please only constructive suggestions (not "i wanna have a pony!") and only about the website/forum. the server question (shard, pb etc..) is a totally other topic.

Ther are only 2 thinks for me
first a better methode to put pictures into a post the most pictures are too great and dont fit.

second a way to put lists (excel, txt or somthing ) direct into posts. Thinks like the command list can be better displayed with colors and somthing

How about some kind of messaging system where you can message shiven players directly on the server whilst they're playing from the website? Can that be done?

And maybe you could design some kind of viewing page where people can spectate competition matches like a broadcast if you know what I mean.

These might "tie" the website to the server and form a 'big package' kind of feel for the whole 'Shiven Experience'.

Oh, and a cup-holder for my laptop please.

I would suggest to add the number of players online in the server usage statistic. Something like 8 of 24 (or 28). It can fit vertically in the bars. It would be nice (for me) to see, how may players were at shiven yesterday form 21-22 for example.

mate, most notebboks are equipped with a cup holder by default... There should be a small button on one side to open and close it. Something like on that Mac:


Though some people misuse it for storing their optical disks.
