Why sH/KoelnKiller is always mobbing me?
He keeps vaporising me when I make objectives
Now he denies my acces to the server

it creates rather unfriendly atmosphere on the server

Yes Adam you are right - It is ONLY a game, bur each game has its rules. And you can find them here RULES !!!. To be precise, let me quote part of our rules:

TEAMPLAY - "If a staff member gets the feeling you are just laming around, you can be punished"


FAIR TEAMS - "Let it be clear that staff members are always permitted to move players in order to even the teams by skill. If you object to a forced player movement, best go elsewhere."

You asked why you were 'vaporised'. We are watching every player on server each time. Adam, you are not bad player, you just don't work with the team, and sometimes "laming around", and then ... !lol adam

Secondly, about fair teams - we want game to be as even as it can. Sometimes we may succeed, sometimes not. But when we see that player moved thousands of times to another team keep getting back to its original (ALLIES ONLY TEAM) we need to act. There can not be any exceptions. Thats why referees and admins are for.

sH|KoelnKiller is worse than drill sergeant - and he will try (probably more than others) to keep gaming as it should be.

So first - try to play as Axis next time when we "ask" you to do so. Second - you play ET long enough to know when and what to do to help our team.

I hope this will solve at least some of your issues, so you can ... "get a long" with sH|KoelnKiller.

Hey Adamkoeln,

The reason KK banned you is because you never listen when you get moved to axis, because you only want to play allies. Then you will join back, over and over again, or disconnect. That way it can get real hard to even teams.

Personally, I think you are a good player who is very focused on the objective, nothing wrong with that.

Maybe you can take this chance to promise to listen (and NOT move back or disconnect) next time you are moved to another team, and sometimes play axis if it is needed to even teams.
Maybe Koelnkiller is willing to think again and unban you?

First, calm down. It's a game. It's mentioned to be fun. I can only speak for myself and the most important thing I always try to remember is: "campari, take your pills..." :D

I just got a PM from adamkoeln. He mentioned to me a very important thing: He does NOT want to be axis because he does not want to have some Nazi-signs on himself. This is the reason why he goes to specs or quits the game, when he is moved to axis. I can understand his opinion and I think we cannot force someone to be axis with such an attitude - even it would be good for the teamplay. I know, teamplay is essential in ET and if everyone comes up with special habits like "camparisoda only plays on shiven, if he can have the panzerfaust and a cheeseburgerz, otherwise he leaves and and posts shit in the forum" it does not work. However, if it's just a single regular with such a quirk, I could live with it. What do you think?

He should have mentioned this earlier, that would have saved everyone a lot of trouble.

OK ... i have nothing against Adam if he does not want to play as Axis. I understand. But, Adam, why you are telling this so late. Frankly speaking, .... oh nvm

However, other players can now say similar things - like mentioned by Campari. As for me Adam is/can be an exception, as long as we know him, he was constant in his words. So as mentioned earlier:

On this occasion I find myself disagreeing with you campi my fine friend.

Adam knows there is a risk of being asked to play on the axis team if he chooses to play et. That's a fact of et, whether you play Shiven or any other server.

I have a couple of questions for Adam:

1. Adam, knowing that absolutely NO nazi emblems are displayed on the Shiven server, either on uniforms or buildings, how can you possibly suggest that would be your reason for not joining the axis team when asked to??

2. Given that Mac has clearly stated that he has seen you 'laming around' and asked you NOT to lame around, do you feel that you should be allowed to lame around and not be subjected to the same rules for laming around as other Shiven players??

You should answer these questions absolutely honestly and directly here on the forum Adam because your reasons given to the Greit Campari don't add up to me.

Campi, I'm a big fan of yours dude, but I feel that if Adam is allowed to be an exception to the rules, then everybody will 'want a quirk' sooner or later. I know of no referees or admins who are exempt the rules and so I ask you, is it really sensible to allow any individual to be treated different from another here?

I have a strong belief in everybody being treated absolutely equally, probably because of my law studies, and I just think this might come back and bite our arses.

Do we really wanna lose a nice, friendly player who plays almost every day, over this? Honestly, I think sometimes we should make an exception, even if it is against our principles. I think this is one of these moments. It really doesn't feel right to ban him for this.

And I doubt our regulars will make a fuzz about this, and that more will come with excuses. And if they do, then they will likely not be taken seriously. It's not hard to spot a winning-team joiner.

Our principles = our rules Ob.

I also feel banning is too harsh BUT if adam feels it is necessary to disconnect/spec when put to axis, that is his prerogative. That doesn't, imho, prevent or disallow Koelnkiller or any other ref/admin from taking him to task for breaking our rules. If the rules need changing, then so be it - but they MUST be the same for every player on Shiven otherwise they are NOT rules.

If adam is such a nice player, he will understand the need for him to obey the Shiven rules. Being nice is not enough that he should be allowed to be different from everyone else. That's my belief, not just an opinion. There are no doubt things that we'd all like to do differently, but WE are here to uphold those rules or to ask that they should be changed to reflect the needs/wants of the players.

A game is ment for fun, he's still learing and when he sees esah §the best player on shiven evar) playing the k43 he will see me as his idol and always play axis
