Suggestion for new Map Pool

Hey I got kinda tired of 3 times FD in 1 map pool, and yes i know this used to be 24h FD but i've noticed alot of people feel the same way so here is my suggestion, feel free to make your own ones

MAP POOl (= 8 maps)

1)Supply Depot (low Download)
2)Braundorf (Low DOwnload map)
3)Fuel Dump
4)Goldrush
5)Battery
6)Oasis
7)Special Delivery (low download)
8)Radar

i've made the maps so there's only one download needed (it's like 8MB in total) The rest are standard maps which require brain and teamplay (espacially radar). Also most of these maps are used in official wars (with the pro's :D) as they usually require more brain and teamplay then most maps.

What do you think?

I support your idea to change the map rotation, same old same old can get boring after several months.

8 maps is too much, not fair for players who join mid-campaign because xp-differences will only get bigger. Not fun if everyone is 1000 xp when you join.

My suggestion is as follows: to have several voteable campaigns that are different from each other, so the players can vote whichever suits their taste. I have come up with 3 campaigns of which at least one should satisfy the needs of most players.

Campaign 1 (Basic) - Similar to our current map rotation, generally well-liked by most players.
- Supply
- Fuel Dump
- Gold Rush
- Fuel Dump
- Oasis
- Fuel Dump

Campaign 2 (Alternative) - Consists of (in my opinion) quality custom maps that are a nice varation from the standard maps.
- Caen
- Beach Invasion
- Marrakech Streets
- Battery
- Venice
- Frostbite

Campaign 3 (FUN) - Campaign with 3 fun & challenging maps.
- Cortex
- Saberpeak
- Venice
- Cortex
- Saberpeak
- Venice

We could obviously add more map-rotations than just these three.
What's great about this is that the players can decide themselves which maps they want to play, instead of making it to be some kind of big decision that only the Shiven staff can make (like it is now).

So many downloads will stop people from joining, imo. XP doesn't really mather much and maybe we can reset the xp after every 4 maps?

- Rail gun (Official map)

Total 12 different maps including 6 maps official to reduce downloading

Those look like fun, madonna..
We are thinking of making a custom map day, once a week. Then we can try these campaigns, or dedicate a day to one map (Cortex!!!). I cant wait to play cortex on shard =)

I only help playing if we add MLB temple!!! ONLY!!!!!!!

@Madonna: don't forget to add fueldump in your 2nd campain or u get banned from forum :D

btw: If anyone has some map-editing skills, we could also use a pimped fueldump map, with a ladder behind the door in axis spawn!!!!!!!!!!
