Add server
Start mumble and you will be greated by the server browser where you can choose one of the many public mumble servers. Since you want to connect to the shiven server choose "custom servers".
Insert the server address (no need to change the port since we use the default one) and choose your login name. Click "Add" and its gets saved for later usage.
Since we now have added our favorite mumble server we still need to do some configurations.

Configure mumble
Choose Configure -> Settings from the menu. Enable the "Expert config" on the bottom left side to get all available options.
Configure -> Settings -> Audio Input. Change Transmission to "Push To Talk" since no one wants to hear you breathing like an animal. Its much easier to play if not everyone hears you drinking, eating or making other strange noises.

We have set it to "Push To Talk" but what do we need to push? Configure -> Settings -> Shortcuts.
The top entry is what we are looking for. Click on it and press the button you wanna use for talking. Most users have set it to "R" since its easy to reach (even infight). But the choice is up to you.

We are done.. not yet. Mumble uses Text-to-Speech for announcing nearly every little action. Since this can get really annoying ingame we recommend it to disable most of it since it can get really messy on frequented servers.
Go to Configure -> Settings -> Messages and disable all the actions you don't wanna get noticed about.

NOTE: When you join the mumble server and no one is around, just idle.
